CyanogenMod (CM) emang custom ROM yang memang tiada duanya untuk masalah UI dan performance! Ringan, Smooth, Stabil, dan mudah di customize. Custom ROM Rarzr UI v6 Mini, merupakan varian CM 7.2 baru buat pengguna Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570) yang tampilannya di customize mirip Motorolla Android Razr.

Dulu pengen banget Galaxy Mini ku mau tak bikin kayak gini, tapi g bisa… Dan ternyata sekarang udh ada custom ROM nya. Wow!!! Thanks banget buat developernya:  DQiB.

- Wallpaper bawaan gak fit alias kegedean. Solusi: setting wallpaper sendiri (dari Gallery).

- Extend Memori internal g bisa pake S2E atau script A2SD (lum nemu caranya). Solusi: pake Link2SD.

Wo hohoho… Ini dia, jenis custom ROM yang gua banget…! Semua yang saya butuhkan ada di dalamnya. Dari sekian banyak custom ROM yang bermunculan (termasuk yang hasil uprek2 sendiri), sepertinya custom ROM ini yang paling OK.

Custom ROM ini, sangat cocok buat pengguna Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570) yang:

1. suka dengan performance stock ROM (plus sedikit tambahan tweaking).

2. bisa extend memori internal (say good bye to low memory internal space) dgn app S2E atau yg lainnya.

3. suka overclocking untuk mendapatkan performa maksimal dalam gaming.

Cara Install More v1.3?

Bagi yang sudah biasa install custom ROM, pasti sudah tahu caranya: tinggal install lewat CWM (wipe data /cache dan format system sebelum install).

Bagi yang belum tahu / belum pernah install custom ROM:

A. Partisi SD Card

B. Flashing ke STOCK ROM

Jika versi Android yang Anda gunakan sudah versi 2.3.x atau gingerbread, maka langkah ini dilewati saja.

C. Install CWM (ClockWorkMod) - Langkah 1 lewati saja.

D. Install More v1.3

1. Copy file update-godell-xwktn-signed.zip ke SD card. Lalumatikan smartphone Galaxy Mini (sampai benar-benar off — layar berwarna hitam — bukan warna abu-abu).

2. Tekan tombol Power Button dan Home Button secara bersamaan.

>> terus tekan sampai muncul menu ClockworkMod Recovery.

>> disitu ada pilihan menu,

• reboot system now
• apply update.zip
• wipe data / reset
• wipe cache partition
• install zip from sd
• backup and restore
• mounts and storage
• advanced

>> Tombol yang digunakan, <<

• Volume Down = untuk menggerakkan ke bawah.
• Volume Up = untuk menggerakkan ke atas.
• Home Button = untuk memilih menu (OK).
• Back Key = untuk kembali.

3. Pilih menu wipe data / reset, dengan cara menekan tombol Volume Down, kemudian tekan tombol Home Button. Terus pilih Yes — delete all u . Tunggu sampai prosesnya selesai.

4. Pilih menu mounts and storage, lalu pilih format /system. Kembali ke menu utama dgn menekan tombol Back Key.

5. Pilih menu install zip from sd, lalu choose zip from sdcard.

6. Cari dan pilih file update-godell-xwktn-signed.zip, lalu - install. Tunggu sampai prosesnya selesai / Complete!

7.  reboot system now .

Tired of the same old looking theme of your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360? Are you looking for Custom Roms that will make your Samsung Galaxy Y look new? Here are 6 awesome custom roms for Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 that I have collected.

Please do note that installing or trying out these Custom Roms may damage or brick your Samsung Galaxy Y. I strongly advice that before you try out these custom roms, you MUST BACKUP your data first. Akhir-akhir ini, Gemini 8520 saya seperti mengalami penurunan kinerja. Angka free application memory mulai menyusut di bawah 100MB, respon tiap menu dan aplikasi mulai tidak segesit dulu, dan mulai akrab dengan jam pasir lagi. Padahal soft-reset dan hard-resetmasih rajin saya kerjakan tiap hari, selain clear log dan memory cleaning, ditambah ritual memory personal boost. Mengingat pentingnya perangkat ini dalam menunjang pekerjaan dan produktivitas kerja, maka saya tidak mau berlama-lama membiarkan kondisi seperti itu. Pikiran saya pun melayang pada kemungkinan melakukan upgrade OS, supaya membersihkan (wipe) sekaligus menginstal OS yang lebih fresh.

Khususnya bagi Anda yang belum tahu caranya, langkah-langkahnya sederhana dan bisa dilakukan sendiri, asal cermat dan berhati-hati. Silakan ikuti petunjuk ini.

1. Membaca ulang cara upgrade/instal OS Blackberry di Berryindo.
2. Lakukan full backup seluruh data dan aplikasi dengan Blackberry Desktop Manager, untuk jaga-jaga.
3. Cari OS yang lebih tinggi/besar penomorannya, karena itu menandakan lebih baru. Kemarin saya pakai OS V5.0.0.1036, dan setelah gugling sana-sini, akhirnya ketemu dengan OS V5.0.0.1067 untuk perangkat Blackberry Gemini 8520 keluaran AT&T, yang bisa diunduh dari situs Blackberry AT&T, atau langsung saja klik di sini.
4. Selesai mengunduh, langsung instal ke komputer. Lalu menghapus file bernama vendor.xml di drive C -> program files -> common files -> research in motion -> app.loader (di folder ini ada file vendor.xml yang harus dihapus, karena Gemini saya pakai Telkomsel, bukan AT&T).
5. Nyalakan Blackberry Desktop Manager. Punya saya sudah pakai versi 6.0, kalau Anda belum, segeralah instal DM versi 6.0 tersebut. Versi ini tidak mengalami kesulitan apapun mendeteksi dan menginstalkan V5.0.0.1067.
6. Hubungkan perangkat Blackberry Gemini 8520 ke komputer. Ketika sudah terkoneksi, Desktop Manager otomatis membaca adanya OS V5.0.0.1067, yang lebih baru dibandingkan OS V5.0.0.1036 yang terpasang di dalam Gemini 8520. Disodori pilihan untuk upgrade, tinggal ikuti setiap prosedur yang meliputi backup, delete, install, restore.
7. Lebih kurang 30 menit semuanya sudah beres, Blackberry Gemini 8520 sudah bisa digunakan kembali dengan kondisi yang lebih segar, aplikasi lebih lincah, dan semua terasa enteng.

Memang sih, hampir tidak ada perbedaan antara V5.0.0.1067 dan V5.0.0.1036. Keuntungan instal OS baru adalah membersihkan sampah-sampah gak penting yang menghambat kinerja.
